Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply when you create an account or use MyMotorLife. You must be legally able to agree to these terms. A minor may use the service only with the consent and supervision required by applicable law. You must provide accurate account information and protect your login credentials.

The service

MyMotorLife provides vehicle documentation and community features. Features may change as the service develops. Availability is not guaranteed during maintenance, security incidents or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Vehicle records

User-, workshop-, translated- or AI-generated information is not automatically an official or verified ownership, safety, repair or service record. Users remain responsible for checking technical and safety information.

Your content and licence

You retain rights to your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to upload it. You grant MyMotorLife a non-exclusive licence to host, copy, resize, translate when requested, display and distribute the content only as needed to operate the service and according to your visibility settings. The licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, legal and discussion-integrity handling.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others, claim vehicles you do not manage, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, upload unlawful material, expose private information, spam, harass users, distribute malware or bypass access controls. Follow the Community Guidelines.

Moderation

We may restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, law, these terms or service integrity. Where applicable, we explain the principal reason for a moderation decision. You may request a review by contacting support@mymotorlife.com.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement or material security risk. Provisions that by their nature must survive termination, including rights, liability and lawful retention, continue to apply.

Responsibility and consumer rights

The service is provided with reasonable care, but user content and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Users are responsible for backups of information they cannot afford to lose.

Law and changes

Finnish law applies, without limiting mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account contact details before they take effect where required.
